Wokingham Borough Council owns three complete DJ - disc jockey - setups including vinyl record decks, CD decks, speakers, mic, DJ mixer etc. The purpose of this is to broaden the access of pupils to different technologies for music making.
The sets of equipment are available to Wokingham schools to borrow for extended periods. Pupils can then use the equipment in music lessons or at other times. Wokingham have access to visiting DJ experts who can work with pupils at one off workshops or for weekly sessions.
