CURRENT CONSULTATIONS
The LA is undertaking a review of the funding for Special Educational Needs made to schools through the formula for funding schools. This review was issued to headteachers on 7th December 2010 and will take place over the next year such that any resulting changes to the formula will be implemented for the 2012/13 budget allocation.
The main purpose of the attached questionnaire is to determine how the current funding is used by schools and what impact that has on the educational outcomes of those pupils with SEN. Views are also sought on the current methodology for SEN funding and ideas for improving the allocation in a fair and equitable way.
The questionnaire should be discussed with School Governors and the response sent to the Schools Finance Helpdesk email address (schoolsfinancehelpdesk@wokingham.gov.uk) by 22nd January 2011.
ARCHIVED CONSULTATIONS
Attached is the Single Funding Formula Consultation Document 2010-11. This was a review of the Single Funding Formula for Early Years Free Entitlement. The consultation was issued 21st October 2009 and closed 2nd December 2009.
Schools were consulted on formula funding for 2008-2011. This consultation has now closed and the results are attached below.
