About the Schools Finance Service
The Schools Finance Service ensures sound administration of schools and the Local Authority's financial affairs. By strengthening school management, it makes a contribution to raising educational standards.
We work closely with schools and colleagues within the Local Authority to ensure high quality provision.
The team is able to offer a wide range of services to schools as well as providing statutory services to the Council. The Student Finance Team is no longer available to respond to higher education funding enquiries.
This office has now closed and responsibility for the administration and assessment of financial support for all students has passed to Student Finance England
