Attached to this page is a protocol, drawn from recent DfES guidance, to assist schools in dealing with visitors or unauthorised adults on site whose behaviour is unacceptable. The LEA is very clear that it will not accept violent or abusive behaviour towards its staff, and will do what it can to protect schools as safe and secure places of learning for its pupils.
The protocol includes a form for logging any adverse incidents, whether or not they are serious enough to report to the LEA or police. These could be of significant help if action is subsequently required. The form is also attached as a separate Word document for your convenience.
