For schools undertaking off-site activities, or hazardous activities including some sporting and PE activities, Wokingham provides regulations and guidance in the Offsite and Haxardous Activities Manual. The current manual reflects DCSF and HSE guidelines but also includes local standards and approval procedures which are mandatory health and safety requirements for WBC schools. The Manual is due to be revised in 2008/09, to coincide with the planned release of revised DCSF guidance in autumn 2008.
The full text of the Manual can be accessed from this page. Click on the relevant attachments to access the main text and appendices as PDF files. Blank off-site forms - Appendix F - can be downloaded from the Offsite Forms page - see link on the left hand menu.
