Wokingham Borough Council's corporate school meals contract has been awarded to Caterlink, and commenced on 1st August 2012. This three-year contract will see Caterlink deliver freshly prepared seasonal hot and cold school meals to pupils in the 54 borough schools that have opted-in to this contract.

School Meal Nutrition Standards
The government introduced nutrient-based and new food-based standards for school lunches in Primary schools in September 2008 and in Secondary schools in September 2009. Further information relating to these standards is available on the School Food Trust website. The School Food Trust's Little Book of Goodness gives advice and guidance for parents of reception year students, while the School Food Trust have developed a packed lunch policy for schools to implement.
