Course booking

If you are interested in booking onto any of the courses, briefings or forums please email school.governors@wokingham.gov.uk or call 0118 974 6165. 

The majority of our courses are run at the Council Offices, Shute End or at Ambleside Centre, Woodley.

Free training when you subscribe

Training is free to all governors of schools who subscribe to our Traded Service. Training is available on a pay as you go basis for non subscribing schools.

Online learning platform for subscribers

We have created an online governors learning platform, which is for schools who subscribe to our traded service only. It contains many of the supporting documents that we have provided over recent years including the full electronic version of the Governors Handbook, Governors Newsletter and other useful documents.

How to access the governors learning platform:

• Go to the governors learning platform
• Add in your login details and password that your school have provided to you. (You will need to remove the WBC initials and add in your school’s initials before putting in your login details.)
• Once you have logged in, click onto 'Leadership and Management', along the top bar and you will find the Governor pages.
