Applicable school ages
We will accept applications for children born between September 1, 2007 and August 31, 2008 who may start school full-time from September 2012. Please register to receive a pack by completing school application pack request form.
Key dates
- Mid November 2011: Distribution of application packs
- November 21 2011: Online admissions opens
- January 16 2012: Closing date for application and deadline for providing evidence to meet criteria
- April 20 2012: Offer day, Letters posted first class, Results can be viewed if applied online
- May 4 2012: Deadline to accept offer of school place, Waiting list information available
- May 22 2012: Closing date for receipt of appeals to be heard together

How places are allocated
School places for F2 (Foundation 2) as a rising five (sometimes known as Reception) are allocated by our School Admissions Team, taking into account:
- Published admission arrangements
- The number of places available at each school
Attendance options
You can request that the date your child is admitted to school is deferred until later in the school year or until your child reaches statutory school age in that school year. In such instances, the school place will be held for that child and not offered to another child. School places will not be held beyond the academic year for which the original application was accepted. You may also request that your child starts part-time.
Wokingham Borough residents
If you pay Council Tax to Wokingham Borough Council you should complete our application form for any primary or infant school within the Borough, or for application to schools in other authorities. To receive an application pack, please complete our school application pack request form. If you haven't received a pack by early December, contact us.
Residents of other authorities
You must apply for schools using the application form provided by your home local authority. If you are considering a place at a Wokingham Borough school, please read our Parent's Guide, to understand the basis on which places will be allocated. Your local authority will forward your child's application to us.
