Gas is highly flammable and must be handled with care. Never leave old gas bottles in your dustbin.
Gas cylinders should be returned to the original supplier/manufacturer. If returned to the original place of purchase, you might be able to exchange an empty bottle for a full one or get your money back.
Under the Waste Acceptance Policy only 1 Gas bottle up to 15kg per household can be accepted at Longshot Lane or Smallmead rubbish sites.
