Adopt a street/green space

Help us keep your neighbourhood green and litter free by joining the adopt a street/green space scheme.

We will provide you with a litter picker and bags, which you can leave out for collection with your normal weekly household rubbish

You can also monitor your neighbourhood and report to us any problems in your area. We can provide you with details when roads/green spaces in your area are cleansed and you can provide feedback on this.

Report litter dropped from vehicles  

If you see someone throw litter out of a car window and are prepared to act as a witness, take the car registration number and best description of the offender and report it to us.

Community litter pick event

We hold a Borough wide community litter pick event annually. Next event: 24 and 25 March 2012

Report rubbish in ditches

Rubbish in ditches is the responsibility of the adjacent landowner. We can take action if the rubbish is likely to cause flooding. You can help by reporting dumped rubbish
