Leaving out rubbish
- Don't put paint or oil in your rubbish - these items should be taken to a rubbish tip.
- Keep the pavement clear, if this is not possible leave at the very edge of your property.
- We will not collect if it is more than a foot into your property.
- Wrap broken glass in newspaper
-
Dog mess can be put in with your normal household rubbish. Please make sure it is double wrapped.
What can I put my rubbish in and how can I prevent animals ripping the bags?
- Refuse sacks. A diluted solution of bleach sprayed over the bag can act as a deterent to stop animals ripping open the bags
- Dustbins which you have purchased yourself. These are not mechanically emptied so must only contain sacks the crews can pull out
Please note we cannot empty or pull bags out of wheelie bins.
How much rubbish will you collect?
We will collect up to 1- 2 bags in line with a normal weekly build up.
Do you provide dustbins or sacks?
We will be providing sacks as part of the new waste collection service commencing 2 April 2012.
