Early Consultation on the Managing Development Delivery DPD (2006)

What was the consultation about?

The Council invited people to suggest where development should go within the district.  Over 200 sites were submitted to us, although this is more than will be needed.

The Initial Options consultation was the first opportunity for the public to comment on the sites suggested to us.  The Council has not at this stage made up its mind which sites will be selected.

What happens next?

The Council has considered what was said in the Initial Options consultation and has now produced a methodology for choosing the sites. This methodology will be made available for comment by the general public in January/February 2011. More information as to the exact date for the consultation will be made available on the consultation page of the council website and the Managing Development Delivery DPD page itself.
