Annual Monitoring Report

What is an Annual Monitoring Report?

As part of 'Local Development Framework' process the Council must produce an Annual Monitoring Report for the Secretary of State. This covers our progress and success on the following matters from 1 April to 31 March each year:

a) Our housing trajectory;

b) Progress on meeting the targets in the Local Development Scheme;

c) Whether any Local Development Orders have been drafted;

d) How well the policies in the Local Development Framework are working.

What if the Council aren't meeting their targets?

If the we appear to be falling short of our set targets (e.g. delivering enough housing in line with regional planning policy), we have to include a list of actions within the AMR to help us get back on track.
