The research undertaken has helped support the formulation of our local planning policies and also acts as a reference when we consider planning applications in countryside areas.
Countryside policy definitions
The page 'Countryside policy definitions' contains a brief outline of the more prevelant countryside policy designations in the Borough. When submitting a planning application however it will be necessary to refer to the full range and detail of planning policies. These are outlined in the saved policies of the Wokingham District Local Plan and the Wokingham Borough Local Development Framework.
