Mobile phone mast register

About the mobile phone mast database

The Telecommunications Register contains information on the planning status and location of mobile phone masts and base stations in the Wokingham Borough. This information is provided by the Mobile Operators Association on an annual basis.

Types of planning for mobile phone masts

Mobile phone masts and related telecommunications proposals generally fall into three categories: those which require full planning permission, those which require prior approval and those which are permitted or controlled by licence

In general a planning consent or prior approval allows operators up to five years from date of consent to erect a mast.

Register last updated in January 2013.
