Adopted SPDs
The Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) for the 4 Strategic Development Locations (SDLs) are now adopted. Copies of the SPDs, the SPD matters, the Sustainability Appraisal and other relevant documents are available below. Hard copies may be purchased from the Council.

Copies of the SPD documents, the SPD matters and the Sustainability Appraisal incorporating a Strategic Environmental Assessment and track change versions following the consultation are available below. The appendices referred to in the Statement of Consultation are large documents and are available for inspection in Planning Services at Shute End during normal office hours. For the summary of current responses (matrices) please refer to the individual SDLs or relevant documents.
Adoption of the SPDs
The Regulations require that the Council, as local planning authority, will not adopt any of the SPDs until:
- It has considered any representations made in accordance with the above requirements
- Has prepared a statement setting out a summary of the main issues raised in these representations, and
- How these main issues have been addressed in the SPD which they intend to adopt
The summary and how those main issues have been addressed are set out in a Statement of Consultation prepared in accordance with the relevant Regulations. The full Statement is held in Planning Services where it is available for inspection during normal office hours Monday to Friday. Summaries of the main issues raised and how the Council proposes to address them are available, below.
Aborfield Transport Forum Public Meeting 20 February 2013
