Developer and Section 106 contributions

Developer and Section 106 contributions

Contributing to local community facilities

Section 106 agreements used to be the way developers contributed towards local community facilities to balance the impacts of new development.

This is now done through the Community Infrastructure Levy

Section 106 agreements are now only used for site specific impacts such as providing affordable housing.

Any money we still receive and spend through Section 106 payments can be seen below in quarterly reports split by:

  • Spend by town and parish
  • Spend by type - e.g. community, transport, housing, etc
