Dinton Pastures Country Park covers just over 335 acres. The park is open daily. It has 7 lakes, 2 rivers, 3 public bird hides, and meadows. A free Dinton Walks leaflet is available at the cafe.

Dogs are welcome

Dogs are welcome and we have dog drinking bowls, dog waste bags and bins for you to use. Please keep dogs under control and prevent them from fouling footpaths.

Activities and interests

There is a Multi Activity Centre on site. Other activities include:

• Fishing - at White Swan Lake and the River Loddon.
• Golf
• Horse riding - access is available through a permit system operated by the local riding club. Contact us for details.
• Museum Of Berkshire Aviation
• Orienteering - special packs are available at the cafe.
• Pedalo and rowing boat hire: Price per half hour per boat: 1 person: £5, 2 people: £7, 3 people: £9, 4 people: £11, 5 people: £13, 6 people: £15. Bouyancy aids provided.
• Walking groups
• Watersports: windsurfing, canoeing and sailing 

Facilities

Facilities include:

• Cafe: The Dragonfly Cafe - Open from 8.30am daily. Open all year round (except for Christmas Day). Closing times vary.
• Disabled Access: Many paths are accessible by buggy and wheelchair. There is a short waymarked route suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs. You can hire a mobility scooter, after completing a short 'driving test'.
• Picnic area
• Play area
• Rangers office
• Room hire
• Toilets: There is an accessible toilet. Baby changing facilities are available. Open during ranger working hours.

Parking

Car parking charges are:

• £1 for up to 1 hour
• £1.50 for 1-4 hours
• £2 for over 4 hours
