We are currently consulting on the renewal of our Statement of Principles as required by the Gambling Act 2005. We have a statutory requirement to revise the statement every 3 years, to take effect from January 2016.
Read our Draft Gambling Act Statement of Principles, below. The amendments to the previous policy are highlighted in red text.
Comments on the revised draft Gambling Licensing Policy must be in writing – either by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by writing to the following address:

The Gambling Commission Guidance advises that demand for gambling premises and morality issues are not considerations under this legislation. So we may not be in a position to consider any comments of this nature.
Comments on the revised policy must be received by 28 October 2015. We will consider the results of the survey and report to the Licensing Committee on 9 November 2015. prior to going to the full Council on 19 November 2015.
