Stay Active is a weekly session for the over 55's. The Sports Park offers a morning of activities which will help you Stay Active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Activities include:
•Badminton/Table tennis
•Squash/Racquetball
•Tennis
•Gentle fitness and yoga classes
•Gym
You will be able to enjoy all of these activities for just £3.75 per session. Plus enjoy a tea or coffee in our cafe Eat@SportsPark. There's no need to register in advance, you can just turn up on the day.
- Dyslexia Action - Parents Dyslexia Awareness Course

A course for parents of children with dyslexia to gain an understanding about the hidden learning disability and ways to support children with literacy and numeracy at home. The course will consist of 7 x 2 hour sessions.
Parents will attend sessions 1-5 and 7. Parents and their children with dyslexia will attend session 6 to work together using fun resources and the techniques parents have learnt in previous sessions. Sessions 1-5, for parents: 18 January, 25 January, 1 February, 8 February and 22 February. Session 6, for parents and children: Parents will be split into groups and attend with their children with dyslexia on 29 February or 7 March. Session 7, for parents: 14 March
