Pearmans Copse - 2 hectares
Pearmans Copse as its name implies, is a small area of ancient woodland managed as coppiced ash, hazel, and field maple under oak standards and contains many classic archaeological features, such as boundary banks and ditches. This relatively small reserve is highly prized locally, and we hope to soon designate it as a Local Nature Reserve. It is surrounded by community woodland within the development of Lower Earley, which links with Dinton Pastures Country Park to form an extensive green corridor through the Loddon Valley.
