Sports bookings
 
To book a sports pitch or tennis court use our online pitch booking form or call 0118 974 6302/6303. Please note ID or proof of address will be required in order to make a booking.
 
Sports coaching
 
Qualified tennis and soccer coaching courses are offered regularly throughout the year. Regular ‘mini soccer’ schools where the emphasis is on ball control skills rather than training are also organised specifically for children. To check current and future plans contact the Sports Development department - see children's multi sports courses to find out more. 
 
Tennis facilities

Basketball
 
Basketball hoops for informal play are provided at:

  • Sandford Park
  • Chestnut Park
  • Gorse Ride Community Centre

Fishing
 
There are good opportunities for angling at the large ornamental lake at Southlake and at Tippings Lane.  There are a number of rules which apply to fishing at these locations.
 
Half Marathon
