Event hire and sponsorship

The following hire and sponsorship services are available.

 

 

The pavilion at East Park Farm is available for hire for classes and courses during the day and in the evenings on weekdays during term time. Email parksandopenspaces@wokingham.gov.uk for further details.

 

 

The Events Fields at Kilnsea Drive, Lower Earley and Cantley Park,  Wokingham may be booked for car boots and other events. Email parksandopenspaces@wokingham.gov.uk for further details.  

 

 

The Parks and Open Spaces, team administers the Sponsored Roundabout Scheme. Local businesses are invited to contribute to improving the local environment by sponsoring the maintenance of planting schemes on the Borough’s roundabouts. For details call 0118 974 6344.

 

 

The Parks and Open Spaces team are also involved in securing new open spaces and play areas through Section 106 agreements with developers. These requirements can be seen at S106 Contributions. The department has also been involved in the Open Space Audit which was a comprehensive survey of the authority’s level of public open space provision which included parks, sports pitches, indoor sports facilities and play areas.
