We offer free online access for library members to many major reference resources.
If you are using a library computer you will have automatic access, but if you access the site from home you will need to enter your library card number.

Encyclopaedia Britannica Online
We offer access to Encyclopaedia Britannica for all ages:
- Encyclopaedia Britannica Junior for ages 5 to 11
- Encyclopaedia Britannica Student for ages 12 to 18
- Encyclopaedia Britannica for ages 18+
Special features includes video clips, world atlas, world statistical data and interactive timelines detailing historical events! For access to all Encyclopaedia Britannica resources from home, enter your library card number in the 'Card Number' box.

Oxford Online resources
Oxford Online provides access to a variety of reference resources:
To access any Oxford Online resource from home, enter your library card number prefixed with 'wok' in the library card number / library barcode login box, e.g. wok##############.

Credo Reference
Credo Reference provides online access to hundreds of reference titles, including dictionaries, companions and guides. For access from home, enter your library card number in the 'Library Card Login' box.

Ancestry online
For family historians, Wokingham, Woodley and Lower Earley libraries offer onsite access to Ancestry, with census records and other historical data to help you trace your family tree. Please note, you must be at the library to access this website.
People's Network
The People's Network website offers online information relating to public libraries, culture and reading in the UK. The Enquire service provides a realtime enquiry service where you can talk or email someone who is trained to help you find the answers to your questions, 24 hours a day. In addition, the Discover service provides information and web links to help you find the information you require for yourself. Or perhaps you would like some reading inspiration? Look no further than the People's Network Read service which provides an opporunity to discuss what you have read online or to explore further reading ideas and online resources.
