Babies and toddlers
Children are never too young to enjoy using a library and even babies can be library members. We offer several activities designed to help children aged under-5 and their parents get the most from the library.
For details of all our events, see our library events page.

Bookstart and Bookcrawl
Bookstart is a national programme that encourages all parents and carers to enjoy books with children from as early an age as possible. Bookstart aims to provide a free pack of books to every baby in the UK, to inspire, stimulate and create a love of reading that will give children a flying start in life. The Bookcrawl is a fun way for young children to find out more about their library. For more details see our Bookstart page.
