Dinton Pastures Country Park is the largest of all our sites at just over 335 acres. The Park is open daily throughout the year.

It offers a variety of habitats including 7 lakes, 2 rivers, and meadows. Three public bird hides provide secret viewing of the waterfowl, with one specially adapted for wheelchair users. Electric scooters are available for hire for free after users complete a simple 'driving test'.
A free leaflet is available at the reception area at the cafe, which has several circular footpaths and trails illustrated, ranging from 1.5 km - 1 mile to around 5 km - 3 miles.
Car parking charges are:
50p for up to 1 hour
£1 for 1 - 4 hours
£2 for over 4 hours
Charges apply from 8am to 6pm daily. Pay and Display tickets from the car park machine. Annual Season Tickets can be obtained from the Countryside Service Office, situated above the Cafe priced: Full £75.00; Concessionary £50. 6-monthly season tickets for car parking Full £40; Concessionary £25. Disabled = Free.
The site is ideal for families providing a picnic and play area. There is an on-site cafe and rangers office. For more details see the facilities page.
Dragonfly Cafe: Open all year round except for a few days over Christmas. Opening hours vary depending on time of year, phone 0118 932 1071
Toilets: With baby changing facilities open during ranger working hours. Access toilet on site by the cafe.
Orienteering: Special packs available for the whole family from the Ranger's Office or from the Dragonfly Cafe.
Angling: White Swan Lake offers popular coarse fishing. Tickets for day fishing only are available from a machine in the main car park. Fishing is also available on the River Loddon.
Loddon Room: Including barbecue area, available for social and business lettings.
Watersports: Windsurfing, canoeing and sailing available through the Black Swan Sailing Club on 0118 934 4424.
Pedalo, rowing boat and katakanu hire (seasonal): available for hire at Black Swan Sailing Club. Price per half hour per boat: 1 person £5, 2 people £7, 3 people £9, 4 people £11, 5 people £13, 6 people £15. Bouyancy aids provided.
Disabled Access: There is an access toilet and many paths are accessible by buggy and wheelchair. Reduced rates and special fishing swims are available for disabled anglers. There is a short waymarked route suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs. Two mobility scooters are available for use on the park after individuals have gone through a short 'driving test'.

Dogs: Are welcome at Dinton. We have a dog drinking bowl, poop bags and waste bins for you to use. All we request is that you respect other users of the park by keeping them under control and preventing them from fouling public areas and footpaths.
We would like to remind dog owners that the Dog Fouling of Land Act is in force on site with a fine of up to £1,000 for failing to pick up after your dog.
Horses: Horse riding is encouraged at Dinton by allowing access to some areas of the park through a permit system operated by the local riding club. Contact the Countryside Service for more details.

If you enjoy walking, try out one of our Health Walks which start at the main car park on Tuesdays and Sundays. These are short brisk walks with a leader, with the aim of improving your fitness levels. All walks are free of charge. A list of walks can be found on line.
You will also find the Museum of Berkshire Aviation located on the site just off Mohawk Way.
You can also get involved in the park's management by volunteering to do coppicing, path laying or monitoring the wildlife. Volunteer days are Mondays and Wednesdays. Contact us for more information.
