The Mall Gallery

The Mall Gallery is a community art gallery, which is run by us and sponsored by The Cultural Partnership.

• Mall Gallery opening hours: weekdays from 8.30am to 5pm

• All exhibits are free to view.

Putting People First exhibition: February 2 to March 12

Putting People First (PPF) is a completely new way of providing adult social care. It’s about changing the way services are provided across the country. PPF is also about prevention as well as helping those who have already reached the point where they need our help and support.

This exhibition shows how some of our social care customers are using their Personal Budgets with great success, living as independent and full a life as possible.

The exhibition has been organised not only to show that the changes to adult socialcare are working, but also to provide those who may be eligible for adult social care in the future, or at present, with instant and easily understandable examples of the kinds of services personal budgets have been spent on so far to improve the health and well-being of the council’s social care customers.
