How to apply for a vacancy
Online application is currently only available for our non-school vacancies.
To apply:
- Select the job you are interested in and note the post's reference number
- View the additional information attachments, which include a job description and person specification
- For some posts you can simply email or post us your Curriculum Vitae - CV - with a CV Extra Information Form, which is attached to each applicable post
- For posts that deal with vulnerable adults and children you will need to complete the Additional Job Application Question, which is attached to each applicable post and CVs will not be accepted for these posts
- To complete an Application Form save the form to your computer
- Once your Application Form and/or CV is ready for submission you can email it to recruit@wokingham.gov.uk or alternatively you can post your application to: HR Service, Wokingham Borough Council, Civic Office, Shute End, Wokingham, Berkshire RG40 1WQ
When you apply online you will receive an acknowledgment within 24 hours. If you have not received an acknowledgment please contact us on 0118 974 6077.
If you are short-listed we will contact you to arrange an interview. Unfortunately we are unable to notify unsuccessful applicants. If you have not been contacted within 4 weeks of the closing date please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion.
