Categories of Anti Social Behaviour

We will assess and prioritise all cases of Anti Social Behaviour into categories: High, Medium or Standard:

High Priority (Category A)

  • Crime or criminal behaviour

  • Hate incidents and harassment – e.g. verbal abuse, threats of violence, assault or damage to property based on race, sexual orientation, gender, age, disability, religion etc

  • Domestic abuse

  • Alcohol related abuse

  • Physical violence

  • Intimidation

  • Threatening behaviour

  • Harassment

 

Medium Priority (Category B)

  • Vandalism – e.g. graffiti, damage to property etc

  • Noise nuisance – e.g. excessive banging of doors, shouting, arguing, playing loud music constantly etc

  • Verbal abuse / insulting words

  • Drug dealing or drug abuse

  • Prostitution / sexual acts / kerb crawling

 

Standard Priority (Category C)

  • Pets or animal nuisance – e.g. not keeping pets under control, dog fouling, constant dog barking etc

  • Misuse of communal areas / public space or loitering

  • Litter or dumping rubbish – e.g. fly-tipping etc

  • Garden nuisance – e.g. untidy / overgrown gardens etc

  • Nuisance from vehicles – e.g. dumped cars, vehicle repairs at the roadside.
