Leaseholders

A Leaseholder is a person who holds a long lease of a flat or maisonette, granted by the council. This means that they are the legal owner of the flat (for the period of the lease). The council is still responsible for providing common services and maintaining the exterior of the block and shared parts.  These pages give information on the rights and responsibilities of leaseholders and the council.
