What is tenant involvement and how can you get involved?
Tenant Involvement is about giving opportunities for tenants to have their say on the full range of housing services and also wider community issues within the borough. This is achieved through feedback, compliments, complaints, surveys etc.

Is any support or assistance given to tenants who become involved
Yes, all involvement opportunities are voluntary however, Wokingham Borough Council does offer the following assistance to all those wishing to get involved:

Transport - transport can be arranged for people wishing to attend Working Groups and other related events

Expenses - unless organised direct with Wokingham Borough Council, expenses such as car mileage and public transport are given to all Involved Tenants upon receiving valid receipts and the appropriate paperwork.

Training - regular training is provided to all Involved Tenants

Introductory Training - every new Involved Tenant undergoes an initial training session with the Tenant Involvement Team
