The Wokingham LINk is a new independent network of individuals, and community groups who work together to improve local health and social care services in the Wokingham area. The job of the LINk is to find out what people think works and what doesn’t within local services, working with those organisations to improve services. This may involve talking directly to health and social care professionals about services that are not offered within the area, or suggesting ways that an existing service could be improved. The LINk has specific powers to influence how these local services are planned, developed and managed.
The LINk is funded by the Government, but is independent of the NHS and Council.
The Wokingham LINk wants to hear what you think about your local Health or Social Care Services – Good or Bad. You can get involved in any way that suits you, so you don’t have to join a committee or commit lots of time in order to have your say.
For more information or to have your say, or to find out about events and opportunities to meet with LINk represenatives, contact the LINk.
