Inspection of services for disabled people

An inspection by the Commission for Social Care Inspection - CSCI took place in 2006, assessing services we provide for adults with physical disabilities and sensory impairment aged between 16 and 64 years.

The report concludes that our services for people with physical disabilities and sensory impairment are ‘serving some people well’ and that ‘capacity for improvement is promising’. For more information read the attached inspection report.

An action plan has been prepared by the Council in response to recommendations within the report.
