Commission for Social Care Inspection
The Commission for Social Care Inspection - CSCI is the organisation responsible for undertaking the 'Independence, Wellbeing and Choice' Inspection.
The inspectors were Sue Talbot and Sheila Callens and they were accompanied by an 'expert by experience' i.e. somebody from outside the borough but who had experience of adult social care services elsewhere.
They sent out questionnaires to 150 Service Users who are older people and they looked at how we safeguarded vulnerable adults over the past 12 months. The Inspectors visited people in their homes and also looked at some of the activities run with our partners.
