Local Groups
There are three local groups running specifically for children with additional needs:
Bubble Club
Bubble Club is run by Reading Mencap. It is for babies and toddlers with additional needs, and their siblings. It meets on Thursday mornings during term time from 10am to 12noon. Tel: 0118 966 2518
Dingley Family and Specialist Early Years Centres
Dingley Family and Specialist Early Years Centres meets at Wokingham Community Hospital and is for children aged birth to five years with developmental and additional needs, and their siblings. Parents and carers also have a space to meet and chat. Tel: 0118 989 4021
Little Darlings
West Berkshire Down Syndrome Group runs Little Darlings coffee morning for parents and carers with children with Down Syndrome. It meets in Lower Earley on Fridays mornings during term time from 9.30am to 12noon. Tel: 07847 327 528
Sunflowers Baby and Toddler Group
Sunflowers Baby and Toddler Group meets fortnightly at Reading Deaf Centre on Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm. It is for families with deaf children or deaf parents and is suitable for children age birth to five years-old. The sessions are drop in, and cost £1.50 per family. Tel: 07792 206363
