Supporting disabled children and young people
We work closely with the parents and other professionals - e.g. from health, education and voluntary organisations - who are interested in the wellbeing of the child.
The support services we provide for disabled children and young people include:
Day care
Overnight stays
After school care
Saturday clubs, etc.
Many of these services are provided from 'Bridges' resource centre in Woodley.
The Planning Register for Disabled Children
You can add your child's name to the Planning Register for Disabled Children. This has been established to help us and other professionals gain a better understanding of disabled children and young people's needs.
It is also a way of staying in touch, as families of children and young people on the register will receive information updates about services available to them locally.
