Update

Speech and Language Drop-In sessions will take place in May as follows:

15 May, 9.30-11.30am, Wokingham Town Children's Centre

22 May, 9.30-11am, Winnersh Children's Centres

29 May, 9.30-11am, Brambles Children's Centre

What services are available? 

  • Advice for parents and carers.
  • Childminding network.
  • Drop-in sessions.
  • Adult education/family learning courses.
  • Family link workers to support you.
  • 'Signposting' service to Job Centre Plus.
  • Antenatal care and visiting services.
  • Health sessions such as 'stop smoking'.

 

About us

Our children's centres provide opportunities for children aged 0 to 5, as part of the Every Child Matters aims. Each children's centre is different, because they are designed to meet the needs of each local community. Where there is demand, we will set up new services or increase availability.
