Services include: 

  • Advice  and Information for Parents and Carers.
  • Drop-In "Play & Learn" Sessions. 
  • Well Baby Clinics.
  • Ante- and Post-Natal Support.
  • 1:1 Support from Family Workers.
  • 'Signposting' service to Job Centre Plus.
  • Outreach services in locations around the Borough.

About us

Our 8 well-equipped and welcoming Sure Start Children's Centres based in locations across the Borough, and our Mobile Children's Centre, offer a variety of activities, support and information for all families from pregnancy until their child reaches their 5th birthday.  Each Centre is staffed by an experienced and committed team of Managers, Family Workers , Assistant Family Workers and Administrators who deliver services tailored to meet the needs of the local community.
