Get in the frame: Foster Care Fortnight 13-26 May
Wokingham Borough Council, together with councils across Berkshire, is celebrating Foster Care Fortnight. This is a national campaign to raise awareness of the need to recruit more foster carers. If you’ve ever thought about fostering and wondered whether you could make a difference to children’s lives in your local community, we would love to meet you.
Come to our fostering event on 23 May
Come along to meet foster carers and members of our Placement Team at our information event on Thursday 23 May, 5.30 to 7.30pm, at Finchampstead Children's Centre.
Could you be a Foster Carer or Short Break Carer?
Fostering is one of the most rewarding experiences possible. Come along to our information events to find out about the training, financial and practical support we can provide. These sessions aim to provide the information to help you decide whether fostering is for you. The Placement team will be delighted to answer any queries you might have about fostering and one of our experienced foster carers will also be on hand to share their experiences. Can’t make these dates? Call us on 0118 974 6204.
