Holiday Clubs

There are many mainstream holiday clubs running for children aged from three to 19 years. Some of these are free, but most charge on a half, full day or weekly basis. These clubs are often very willing and able to support children with additional needs. For further details, contact the Family Information Service on 0118 935 2255.

Clubs for Children with Additional Needs

There are two local holiday clubs running specifically for children with additional needs, whether this is a learning, physical or sensory need.

Crossroads Holiday Play Scheme

This is for children aged one to 10 years and their siblings, and is free to families who are resident in the Wokingham Borough. It runs in the Summer holidays at Wokingham Youth and Community Centre. One-to-one support can be provided if required.

Crossroads do need to carry out an assessment before children attend, so must be contacted well in advance of the holiday break.
