Riverdale Children's Centre

Riverdale Children's Centre is located on the Loddon Primary School Site, within the same building as the School Foundation Stage Unit - FSU. We are currently developing a range of services aimed at meeting the needs of our local community and already have some exciting sessions for families with children 0-5. 

The Riverdale Area Neighbourhood Team is also located here in the opposite side of the building. The Team contains a range of professionals whose aim is to work with children, young people and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes and opportunities. This is achieved by using the knowledge that each professional has for the good of the young people and families the Team serves.

During the day parking at the Centre is limited and therefore restricted to staff permenantly based at the Centre only. We are on the 18 and 19 bus route and very near to Earley Railway Station. 

Opening Hours

Activity sessions are held daily between 9.10am and 4pm Monday to Friday. There are staff at the Centre between 9am and 5pm each week, excluding Bank Holidays. Occasionally we have ad-hoc activities outside these hours during evenings or weekends.

Family Information Services - FIS

At Riverdale Children's Centre we have a Family Information Service member of staff, who can provide information on childcare, early years education, school admissions, leisure activities, parent support, services and support for children with additional needs and much more.
