Proposed Modifications to the Wokingham District Local Plan
This page outlines the various Modifications that the Council has proposed to the Deposit Draft Wokingham District Local Plan 1997.
The Council produced a set of Modifications to the Local Plan following the Executive Meeting on 4 December 2002. These Modifications were published for consultation from 5 February until 19 March 2003.

The Council considered its reponse to all the representations submitted on the Proposed Modifications at the Executive on 31 July 2003.
The Executive on 31 July 2003 considered all the representations submitted during the consultation on the Proposed Modifications (5 February to 19 March 2003). The Executive agreed that following consideration of these comments, further modifications should be made to the Plan.
Consultation on these further modifications to the Plan took place from 27 August to 8 October 2003.
Copies of the Further Modifications Proposed, together with Council's Response to Representations received on the Proposed Modifications are available through the above link. In addition, a copy of the Consolidated Further Modified Local Plan (August 2003) is also available.
The Executive on 29 January 2004 considered all the representations submitted during the consultation on the Proposed Further Modifications (27 August to 8 October 2003). The Executive agreed that following consideration of these comments, no additional modifications should be made to the Plan. Furthermore, the Executive decided that the Plan should now be adopted. This was endorsed by Council on 29 January 2004.
