Details of consultations undertaken as part of the Local Development Framework
This page provides a summary of consultations that the Council has undertaken or are in progress for the Local Development Framework. This includes both Development Plan Documents and Supplementary Planning Documents. Further explanation of these terms, and the Local Development Framework process can be found on the Local Plan Review webpage at www.wokingham.gov.uk/ldf.
The following provides a summary of the periods of consultation for each of the various documents that form the Local Development Framework.
Wokingham Borough Core Strategy Development Plan Document
- Consultation on the Core Strategy Scoping Report for the Sustainability Appraisal took place from 7 March to 18 April 2005. This was to comply with Regulation 12 of The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
- Consultation on the Initial Options for the Core Strategy took place from 15 June to 27 July 2005.
- Consultation on the Alternatives for the Draft Core Strategy took place from 9 November to 21 December 2005.
- Consultation on the Screening Report for whether an Appropriate Assessment is required for the Core Strategy. Consultation took place from 6 June to 11 July 2007.
Site Allocations and Housing Policies Development Plan Document
- Consultation on the Scoping Report for the Sustainability Appraisal took place from 1 March to 12 April 2006. This was to comply with Regulation 12 of The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
- Consultation on the Initial Options for the Site Allocations took place from 30 August to 11 October 2006.
Berkshire Minerals and Waste Core Strategy Development Plan Document
- Consultation on the Scoping Report for the Sustainability Appraisal took place from 9 January to 20 February 2006.This was to comply with Regulation 12 of The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
- Consultation on the Core Strategy Issues and Options Report (Regulation 25) on the Berkshire Joint Minerals and Waste Development Document took place from 1 March to 31 March 2006.
Wokingham Borough Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document
- Consultation on the Scoping Report for the Sustainability Appraisal took place from 2 February to 9 March 2006. This was to comply with Regulation 12 of The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
- Consultation on the draft Design Guide Supplememtary Planning Document took place from 3 May to 14 June 2007
- This document was adopted on 27 July 2007
Barkham Village Design Statement Supplmentary Planning Document
- Consultation on the Scoping Report for the Sustainability Appraisal took place from 6 September to 11 October 2006. This was to comply with Regulation 12 of The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
- Consultation on the draft Barkham Village Design Statement is took place from 3 May to 14 June 2007.
- This document was adopted on 27 July 2007
Draft Planning Obligations Supplementary Planning Document
- Consultation on the Scoping Report for the Sustainability Appraisal took place from 6 September to 11 October 2006. This is to comply with Regulation 12 of The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
Draft Sustainable Development Supplementary Planning Document
- Consultation on the Scoping Report for the Sustainability Appraisal is taking place from 1 August to 5 September 2007. This was to comply with Regulation 12 of The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
Draft Highways Design Supplementary Planning Document
- Consultation on the Scoping Report for the Sustainability Appraisal is taking place from 1 August to 5 September 2007. This is to comply with Regulation 12 of The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
