Sites suggested through the Local Development Framework

The attached list gives details of the sites put forward for development by developers, landowners and their agents. They are seeking the sites' inclusion in the Site Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD) which is likely to be adopted during 2010. In putting their sites forward they are complying with the provisions of the new planning system. This is a statutory process, required by central government, that aims to have all the potential sites identified at an early stage so that a full public debate can take place on whether in fact they are suitable for development. Several rounds of consultation give residents and other interested parties a chance to object formally.

The list is in parish and town order. Each parish or town is followed by a map of the sites in that parish or town.

This list includes all sites submitted up to 29th February 2008. All sites have individual reference numbers. Sites submitted before 31st July 2006 are preceded by a number 1, while sites submitted after 1st August 2006 are preceded by a number 2.
