Wokingham Borough Local Development Framework - a review of the Local Plan to 2026

Following implementation of the Planning & Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 on 28 September 2004, the Council has commenced initial work on the formal aspects of reviewing the Wokingham District Local Plan (WDLP) to cover the period beyond 2006. This is involving the collection of evidence to inform the review. Details of this evidence gathering is detailed in the links available on the left hand side of this web page.

 

The Executive meeting on 29 May 2008 considered a new Local Development Scheme for the period 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2011. Following the Executive meeting, this Local Development Scheme was submitted to the Secretary of State on 2 June 2008. The authority is awaiting a response from the Secretary of State. Local Development Schemes are available on the website.
