Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Advice

The revision to the Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Advice (SPA) has been driven by a number of changes to national and regional housing policies, as well as the adoption of the Wokingham District Local Plan on 11 March 2004. This Supplementary Planning Advice also seeks to respond to the Regional Housing Board’s advice that "there is a presumption against funding where it should be possible to negotiate a S106 agreement, unless it is clear that the development economics of that scheme require it".

Consultation on the Supplementary Planning Advice took place from Wednesday 7 July until 5 p.m. on Friday 20 August 2004.

The Council's Executive on 14 October 2004 considered all the comments submitted on the draft document. It then approved the document as Supplementary Planning Advice.

The information in appendix 3 has been updated to provide details of TCI for 2006/7.
