The Declaration of a Protection Zone made at 00:01 on 11 August 2008 under the Bluetongue Regulations 2008 is revoked and replaced by this declaration. This declaration comes into force at 00:01 on 1 September 2008.

Information for the farming industry
In accordance with Section 91/2 of the Animal Health Act 1981 we will publish a link to the latest information on Bluetongue controls.
We will be responsible for ensuring that the farming industry is aware of livestock movement restrictions and that they comply with those that are put into place. We will also aim to ensure that appropriate advice is provided and information is made available to our local communities.
