We are totally committed to continually improving our services and are proud of our association with Local Authority Building Control - LABC - and our accreditation under ISO:9001:2000 and Investors in People - IIP.
 
Currently we gather feedback on our services in 3 ways.
 
One on ones
 
We actively seek to talk to key personnel on major works to increase our understanding of how we can improve our services and what people like about the way we do things already. If you would like to organise a one on one session with Neil Badley the Building Control Manager email building.control@wokingham.gov.uk.
 
Focus group
 
We try to hold a focus group annually. This involves us entertaining a broad range of building professionals in order to get their views on where our service should be heading. These sessions have proved to be useful for both ourselves and those attending and have had a significant impact on our service planning.  If you would like to be part of our focus group email building.control@wokingham.gov.uk. The comments made do not only influence Wokingham's service delivery but because of the close links between Berkshire's authorities can have a significant impact elsewhere.
 
Customer service questionnaires
 
We send out these questionnaires every other year and we are very proud of the results as they reflect the high opinion our service is held in. We have just completed a survey and will be publishing the results of it soon.
