 Our Housing Strategy 2005-2008 shows:

• The current national, regional and local agendas for housing
• How we are responding to promote quality and choice for our local residents 

The Strategy sets out 5 key aims:

1. Addressing our housing needs and requirements, particularly in respect of key workers, and the provision of affordable housing

2. Promoting quality and choice by ensuring that homes are safe, secure and sustainable

3. Continuing to encourage self-reliance and independent living

4. Preventing and providing for homelessness

5. Providing high-quality, value for money housing services for our tenants.
