Community Development Consultation

Development blueprints - or masterplans - for 4 extended communities in the Wokingham Borough destined to take thousands of new homes over the next two decades will be finalised in the next few months.

Formal consultation starts from 8 February to allow local people to have their say before these crucial community blueprints are finalised.

The draft masterplans can be viewed from February 9 on our website, in local libraries and at the civic offices, Shute End, Wokingham.

Planning officers are also contacting the database of people who have registered with the council following previous consultations.

Copies of the draft masterplans will also be sent to all town and parish councils in the borough. To find out more, read our Planning News

Consultation closes on 23 March

Once the consultation closes on March 23, all comments received will be carefully evaluated by council planners who will then draw up the final plans for consideration by the council’s decision-making executive on May 27.
